Motor Car Trader’s Regulations 2008 States all adverts must comply with requirements for private sale of used cars. As a result Advertisers must include:
(a) Cash price of motor car.
(b) If the car is registered, the registration number,
(c) If the vehicle is unregistered, the vehicle identification number, or if it is not reasonably possible to find this out, another number that identifies the motor car, such as Chassis Number or Engine Number.

I discovered it in a barn, where it had been lying untouched for 14 years. The car is virtually complete, but will need a “ground up” restoration. I was planning to return the car to the road myself, but personal circumstances mean that I will probably not be able to do this now. 

The interior is all there, but in a very deteriorated condition. Likewise, all the chrome work is attached but needs renovating. The engine is the straight 6, 3 litre, with automatic gearbox. I have not tried to turn the engine or start it, but I am planning to check it out at some point. The rear axle appears to have been leaking oil for some time. 

There is some rust that I can see in the body panels, but does not look to be excessive. The boot floor will need some repair, but again, it is not too far gone. There appears to be a slight bend in the chassis under the left hand wheel arch, and I’m guessing the car has been hit from behind at some time, but there is no evidence of this on the body panels. I planned to get the chassis “jigged” by a panel beater to correct this.

I aquired Juno P6B in Bundaberg in August 2017 and drove her 2,500km back to western Victoria without any major hassles. Since purchase, I’ve had the following work done to pass VIC roadworthy inspection:
Replaced LH upper ball joint, front universal joint and front brake rotors;
Fixed leaking rear muffler and fuel hose;
Replaced windscreen. I

have replaced a few other little non-safety items to improve overall presentation, such as the plastic plate under the auto trans shifter and dashboard control switches.

Juno comes with the usual gear, and includes working aircon and towbar. The tan Ambla vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition, with some sunburn on the seat tops. There’s one small crack in the dash directly ahead of the driver. The carpet is in excellent condition, as is the headliner.

Outside the white paint is reasonable but has thinned in places. Windows were tinted in NZ where the car was built prior to Australian delivery.

There is NO RUST nor has there been any panel repairs. Mechanically well-sorted.

Odometer shows 66,000 miles. Comes with various spares (lenses, rubber seals, spare carby, spare brake rotors, etc), spare hub caps, original Rover 3500 Repair Operations Manual AKM 3621 (workshop manual), glove box user manual, and a folder of receipts and information.

Currently on Victorian club permit so will be sold unregistered. I have no reason to believe she would not pass Vic roadworthy inspection, having travelled less than 1,000 miles since the last one.
